These days I am a lot into using my bright lip colors as stain. Not only they brighten up my face, but also give a nice color to my lips without looking OTT at all. Its an icing on the cake if the bright lip colors are long lasting as well, which makes you stay free for hours without bothering to do touch ups, even with lipgloss on top of them. My experience with this lipstick:
It is a liquid lipstick that comes with a sponge tip applicator. The wand is long and apt enough to give you good control over the application, and the sponge tip evenly spreads the color on your lips. Red rose is a gorgeous deep maroonish red shade, that'll look good on all skin tones.Its a lovely Gothic shade, which I absolutely fell in love with. The color is quite opaque and gives full coverage in one swipe itself. It gives a nice matte finish that when topped with lipgloss can work perfectly for party wear and with many Indian ethnic wears. I usually apply this color as a stain for regular day time look, while topping it with a lipgloss and it gives a beautiful pink color to my lips, which makes my face look quite bright. It doesn't feel sticky to my lips, and is extremely light weight. You won't feel its presence at all, except for its initial fragrance. The staying power of this lipstick is pretty good and as a stain it stays for 4+ hours, whereas as full lip color it has stayed for 6+ hours, after which I've anyway washed it off.
So, on that note, check out some of my likes and dislikes about this lipstick:
Likes:
1) Nice handy packaging, with a sponge tip applicator that helps in easy and even application.
2) The color is a gorgeous deep maroonish red shade that looks lovely on all skin tones.
3) The lipstick is quite opaque and gives a matte finish as a full lip color.
4) As a stain, it gives a nice soft pink flush to my lips that looks quite natural. I usually top it up with a clear gloss to give more shine.
5) I've experienced a staying power of 6+ hours from this lipstick.
6) The packaging shows the lipstick color on the tube, hence making it easy to find from a stack of lipsticks.
7) The lipstick is neither too drying, nor too moisturizing- just a comfortable wear. If your lips are good to go then you can simply apply this lipstick without bothering to put on any lip balm beneath.
8) It is completely non transferable and waterproof, so even if you plant 2000 or 5000 kisses on your boyfriend, it wouldn't buzz or leave any mark ;)
9) I never felt any kind of irritation or allergy using this.
Dislikes:
1) The packaging though nice and user friendly, looks a bit tad to me. I don't like the blue glossy cap of the lipstick.
2) The lipstick has a floral fragrance which is a bit too heavy for my nose. I don't like such strong and heavy fragrances from my lip colors. However, the fragrance doesn't stay for long and vanishes within seconds.
4) It has parabens and dimethicone in it.
Overall: If you want to try a non-drying long lasting lipstick, then this can definitely suit your needs. Except for the initial note of heavy fragrance, I like everything about it and would definitely like to try some other shades.

Below is how it looks on me as a stain. Please ignore my no makeup face. It was quite hot and I didn't feel like applying any foundation. Just dabbed on some compact, eyeliner on eyes and this lipstick on my lips :)
